Victor Kattan, a Senior Research Fellow at the Middle East Institute and an Associate Fellow at the Faculty of Law at the National University of Singapore (NUS) joins Temple Garden Chambers

Victor Kattan is a Senior Research Fellow at the Middle East Institute and an Associate Fellow at the Faculty of Law at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before Victor moved to Singapore, he was a legal adviser to the Government of Palestine in Ramallah on secondment from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Jerusalem. Victor has lectured extensively overseas and taken part in workshops organized by the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross. He has acted as a consultant for the European Council on Foreign Relations, the Oxford Research Group, and a number of governments. Victor has authored numerous articles on international law and is the author of the critically acclaimed book From Coexistence to Conquest: International Law and the Origins of the Arab-Israeli Conflict 1891-1949 (London: Pluto Press, Palgrave Macmillan, 2009).
