Rodney Dixon KC has addressed an event at the UN General Assembly in New York hosted by the Qatari Ambassador to the UN and the Attorney General of Qatar on the current air, land and sea blockade of Qatar imposed by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
Rodney focused on the implications of the blockade and embargo under international law and the legal actions that could be taken. Rodney has advised the Government of Qatar in respect of the legal consequences of the blockade, which was declared in early June 2017.
