Alex Glassbrook will be speaking about the law of driverless cars at the Model Law Commission 2018 conference, organised by Big Voice London, at the University of East London on Saturday 27 October.
Big Voice London is a youth charity supported by, but independent from, the UK Supreme Court. It is a legal outreach project helping young people explore the UK legal system, particularly the role of the Supreme Court, and their own legal identity.
The Model Law Commission runs as a simulated law reform project, with each group conducting research, critiquing and consulting to put together law reform recommendations. It begins with a weekend conference on 27 & 28 October 2018 at the University of East London in Stratford. From then on, there will be a weekly session on Thursdays from 6-8pm at the University of Law, Moorgate, and the project will culminate in a final session at Parliament in January 2019, where final recommendations will then be put to top legal policy makers.
