Rodney Dixon KC is representing Hatice Cengiz, the fiancée of slain Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, at the start of the criminal trial in Istanbul of alleged perpetrators. Mr Khashoggi was murdered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018.
The central criminal court in Istanbul will hear the case in which 20 Saudi officials have been charged. They are going on trial in absentia. Ms Cengiz will give her testimony today.
