Today is the second anniversary of the murder of the Washington Post journalist who was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. Rodney Dixon KC acting on behalf of Hatice Cengiz, the fiancé of Jamal Khashoggi, will speak with Ms Cengiz and parliamentarians and experts at the European Parliament to mark the anniversary and address the legal steps that should be taken. At the same time Academy Award winning filmmaker, Bryan Fogel, will release his documentary today about the murder, ‘The Dissident’ at the Zürich Film Festival. Ms Cengiz will speak at the premiere.
