Renewed conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh

Rodney Dixon KC has commented on the international law and human rights implications of the conflict that has broken out between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas which lie within the internationally recognised borders of Azerbaijan.

One of the central international law issues arises in respect of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan when set against the claims of self determination by Armenian separatists in Nagorno-Karabakh.
