UN petitioned to intervene for release of Princess Latifa

17/02/2021

The UN and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights have received video evidence of Princess Latifa being held captive at a secret location in Dubai, and urged to take immediate action to intervene to obtain her release from the Dubai authorities. Rodney Dixon KC is representing Princess Latifa in proceedings before the UN to secure her safe release from detention, and has provided evidence to the UN on her behalf concerning her captivity.

The UN has now stated that it will take action, and the UK Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, has said that people want to see that the Princess is alive and well.
