Hatice Cengiz gives evidence before an international Tribunal for the murder of journalists in The Hague

The widow of murdered Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi has given evidence about his killing to a Tribunal in The Hague set up by the Free Press Unlimited (FPU), Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) to bring attention to journalists who have been targeted while undertaking their work. The Tribunal will investigate this killing amongst others, and make public findings in due course. The criminal case concerning Mr Khashoggi’s murder continues before the criminal court in Istanbul and Ms Cengiz’s civil case is ongoing in the US. Rodney Dixon KC is acting as Ms Cengiz’s counsel.
