Kathryn Howarth successfully represents HM Attorney General in the Court of Appeal (Civil Division) in contempt of court proceedings

Kathryn Howarth represented the Attorney General in proceeding for contempt of court, heard by Lord Justice Bean, Lord Justice Peter Jackson and Lady Justice Asplin.

The defendant had been found in contempt of court by Mr. Justice MacDonald, for posting recordings of proceedings from the family court which involved his children, on his channel on You Tube. The Court of Appeal will deliver a written judgment but ordered that the conviction and sentence would remain.
