An inquest into the death of Sergeant Matt Ratana, who was shot dead by a handcuffed man inside a police station, is set to begin today.
The inquest will be heard by a coroner and a jury of six. It is expected to last three weeks.
Sergeant Ratana’s long-term partner, Susan Bushby, is being represented by Dominic Adamson KC & Lois Norris, instructed by Patrick Maguire of HCC solicitors.
