A program hosted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) was held in Colombo this week for the Sri Lankan Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on the investigation and prosecution of cross-border and domestic financial crimes. Rodney Dixon KC lectured as part of the program on international and comparative approaches to combatting corruption crimes. CIABOC was established in 2023 under new anti-corruption legislation and has since undertaken several investigations and prosecutions of financial crimes in Sri Lanka.
