The UK Covid-19 Inquiry is a statutory public inquiry, chaired by Baroness Hallett. The Inquiry is examining the UK’s response to and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and learn lessons for the future.

Module 1 examined the preparedness and resilience of the United Kingdom for a pandemic. The Module opened on 21 July 2022, with hearings taking place in London in June and July 2023.

The Inquiry’s findings and recommendations have been published today.
