Alice Hands is acting as junior counsel in Module 6 of the UK COVID-19 Inquiry, which is examining the impact of the pandemic on the adult social care sector. The public hearings will start today.
The module will explore critical decisions affecting care homes and domiciliary care, including hospital discharge policies, infection control measures, and the availability of personal protective equipment. It will also consider how these decisions affected residents, staff, and families.
Alice will be taking 7 of the witnesses in this Module.
