William Irwin has been appointed as an Assistant Coroner for South London. He will undertake this role alongside his full-time practice.
William’s coronial practice comprises mostly complex and high-profile inquests, typically cases in which Article 2 ECHR is engaged. He represents both families and institutional interested persons. He has particular experience of inquests relating to deaths in custody, inquests following murders, and inquests arising from failings in clinical care.
