Temple Garden Chambers,
Harcourt Buildings,
London,
UK

2nd February 20265:30pm GMT

Temple Garden Chambers is pleased to host a seminar on “International Law and Transnational Repression”, in collaboration with French legal experts, bringing together different national perspectives.

The event will provide practical insights into extradition law in the UK and France, with particular focus on the use of Interpol Red Notices as tools of transnational repression. Speakers will examine the role of Interpol and its responsibility with regard to abusive Red Notices, the obstacles to challenging such notices before Interpol’s internal bodies, and the role of domestic courts where extradition is sought following an arrest triggered by a Red Notice.

It will offer an opportunity for professionals to engage with leading practitioners in the
field.

Refreshments will be served.

We kindly ask that you RSVP by 26 January.
