INTERPOL: Law and Practice published by Sweet & Maxwell

08/09/2026

Temple Garden Chambers is delighted to announce the publication of INTERPOL: Law and Practice by Rhys Davies of TGC and Ben Keith of 5 St Andrew’s Hill (Sweet & Maxwell, 2026).

The book is a practitioner’s guide to the legal framework that governs INTERPOL: its Constitution, the Rules on the Processing of Data, the notice and diffusion system, the Commission for the Control of Files, and the procedures for challenging a Red Notice or securing the deletion of data. It draws on the authors’ experience of acting for individuals targeted by politically motivated notices from states across every region.

Rhys and Ben are co-founders of IHR Advisors and editors of Red Notice Monitor. Rhys has given evidence on INTERPOL to the Joint Committee on Human Rights and has addressed the United Nations in Geneva on the misuse of the Red Notice system.

INTERPOL: Law and Practice is available from Sweet & Maxwell https://www.sweetandmaxwell.co.uk/en-gb/products/interpol-law-and-practice-1st-edition-proview-ebook-43578355
