Representing Bahraini national Ahmed Jaafar Ali in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) concerning his extradition to Bahrain from Serbia. The ECtHR ordered interim measures to bar his return but Mr Ali was sent to Bahrain in breach of this order. The Court is currently considering this violation as well as the merits of the case.
