£4.3m settlement of a TBI case involving a young doctor
C sustained a TBI in an RTA at the start of his medical career as a medical student. He struggled on in that career after the accident but was unable to maintain the demands of a career in medicine.
The bulk of the claim comprised his lost chance of optimising his earnings as a doctor. He was left with a reduced earning capacity and the need for a light touch MDT regime involving input from a vocational rehab assistant and some case management.
