George Davies is currently acting (as an employed advocate with Ballinger Law Limited) for a Libyan state entity which is seeking damages for the alleged misappropriation of circa €15 million of its funds by a company and its directors. The claim involves: (1) inducement of a breach of contract (2) dishonest assistance (3) unlawful means conspiracy. After a 6-day High Court trial in December 2021, judgment is awaited.
