Ellen settled a fatal claim on behalf of the widow and children of H, who died by electrocution in a workplace accident in August 2020. Ellen had previously represented the family at a two-week jury inquest into the death. The jury found that there was insufficient training at the site.
The claim was settled at joint settlement meeting for a confidential sum. Ellen was instructed by Ian Whittaker of Irwin Mitchell.
