Ellen was instructed on behalf of the family of Hilda Griffiths, aged 81, who suffered fatal injuries in a collision with a cyclist in Regent’s Park.
The cyclist was undertaking laps of the park in a pace line with other members of his Peloton club. He was travelling at speeds of up to 29mph in Regent’s Park, above the 20mph speed limit for vehicles.
The death has led to calls for a review of the laws regarding cyclists and speed limits.
