D conceded liability for an assault on eve of trial.

C sustained injury in an alleged assault whilst being escorted out of a summer ball by D’s security guards.

D denied that any assault took place and alleged fundamental dishonesty against C accusing him of lying and fabricating his claim.

D relied on body worn cameras by its security detail to confirm that no assault took place. C contended and ultimately got D to concede that the body worn cameras were switched off and then switched back on again either side of the point in time where C alleges that the assault took place.

Both parties had much to lose at the impending liability trial. D blinked and conceded liability in full 2.5 weeks before trial.
