Representing Princess Latifa before the UN Working Group on Enforced and Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID) which is considering her case. She has not been seen in public for over 2 years following a failed attempt to escape from her family in Dubai in March 2018 when she was captured off the Indian coast while fleeing from the UAE.
Princess Latifa’s father Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE. He is currently involved in child custody proceedings in the High Court in London against Princess Haya (Princess Latifa’s step mother) who recently escaped from the UAE to the UK. WGEID remains seized of the case and has been requested to take urgent steps to secure Princess Latifa’s release.
