Sian Reeves acted for the successful Defendant Secretaries of State in this claim for judicial review challenging the refusal to admit to the UK a migrant with complex mental health problems who was serving a prison sentence in the British Indian Ocean Territory (“BIOT”), following a claim for international protection.  This was part of long-running litigation brought by Sri Lankan migrants following their arrival in the BIOT and in which Sian Reeves has acted for the UK Government.
