Ellen secured a significant settlement for a vulnerable client who had suffered from PTSD following her employer’s failure to protect her from a sex offender in the course of her employment as a prison officer. Liability, quantum and causation were all in dispute.

Following issue of proceedings, the matter settled at a joint settlement meeting for a six-figure sum.
