Representing persons on death row in Egypt in proceedings before the African Commission to have their death sentences set aside (Communication 670/17). The application concerns 16 persons sentenced to death by Egyptian courts. The African Commission has ordered provisional measures directing the Government of Egypt to suspend the death sentences pending the outcome of the proceedings.
