Rodney Dixon QC was sworn in yesterday as a Commissioner to sit on the Commission of Inquiry established by the President of Zimbabwe under the Commissions of Inquiry Act to inquire into the post election violence that occurred on 1 August 2018 following the recent elections in Zimbabwe.
The seven person Commission is chaired by the former President of South Africa, Kgalema Motlanthe, and includes the former Commonwealth Secretary-General Chief Emeka Anyaoku. The Commission will now commence its work with sittings to be held in Harare.
