a very nice set of chambers to work with

Chambers & Partners

Temple Garden Chambers has long experience in insurance law: in professional, public and employer’s liability fields as well as in motor insurance. We have dealt with insurance issues in a range of contexts, including railways, aviation, marine insurance, security contractors and the Automated and Electric Vehicles Act 2018.

Members of chambers have appeared in major pieces of insurance litigation and arbitration. We deal with points including material non-disclosure, fraudulent misrepresentation, wrongful repudiation, declarations, waivers and the meaning and effect of warranties and conditions. We also advise on regulatory issues relating to insurance.

Barristers at Temple Garden Chambers appear on behalf of insurer and insured. Our barristers are experienced in negotiating settlements of claims (known as Alternative Dispute Resolution or “ADR”). Many of our barristers are qualified to accept instructions directly, on a public access basis.
