Rodney Dixon KC participated in a high level expert panel in Washington DC on war crimes that have been committed in the 3 year war in Yemen and the potential mechanisms to facilitate accountability and victim reparations.
It was hosted by the American Society of International Law and the Washington Foreign Law Society and held at the Stimson Center in Washington DC. The experts included Ambassador Stephen Rapp, former US Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes; Prof. David Crane, former Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone; Sarah Leah Whitson, Executive Director, Middle East and North Africa Division, Human Rights Watch; and Don Picard, Chief Legal Adviser, Yemen Peace Project and Partner, Picard, Kentz & Rowe.
