On 7 August Luis Moreno Ocampo, a former Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) released a legal opinion claiming that a genocide is unfolding in the region of Nagorno-Karabakh within Azerbaijan. He had been commissioned to do so by the self-styled Armenian entity in Karabakh. Given the very serious nature of these allegations, Azerbaijan has requested Rodney Dixon KC to provide an expert legal assessment of this opinion.
