International Court of Justice (ICJ) rules on application for provisional measures

The ICJ has ruled on the application made by Armenia for provisional measures to be ordered in the proceedings concerning Armenia and Azerbaijan, in respect of recent events in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan. The Government of Azerbaijan had provided undertakings to the Court in this regard which were accepted by the Court. Rodney Dixon KC acted as counsel in the proceedings on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan.
