TGC partners with the 10,000 Black Interns Programme to host two interns in 2022

13/06/2022

Chambers will be hosting two interns this summer as part of the 10,000 Black Interns Programme. The scheme aims to transform the horizons and prospects of young Black people in the UK by offering paid work experience across a wide range of industries, as well as world-class training and development.

Chambers will be hosting two interns for part of their six-week internships, which include placements at various Chambers and the Government Legal Department. All internships are paid.

The interns have been selected from a pool of over 500 applicants who expressed an interest in a career at the Bar. Of those applicants, 24 have been selected on the basis of their written and oral advocacy skills.

Temple Garden Chambers is committed to improving access to the Bar for those from under-represented groups. We believe that the profession should be representative of society as a whole.
