In light of the legal opinion released by Luis Moreno Ocampo, a former Prosecutor of the ICC, claiming that a genocide was unfolding in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, Rodney Dixon KC was requested by the Government of Azerbaijan to provide an expert legal assessment of these allegations and the conclusions reached. The matter was addressed at the UN Security Council at its session last Wednesday.
