Zeenat Islam returns to practice following maternity leave

Temple Garden Chambers is delighted to welcome Zeenat Islam back to practice following her maternity leave.

Zeenat is a specialist in public inquiries, inquests and investigations and is ranked as a Leading Junior for Inquests and Inquiries. She has extensive experience in some of the UK’s most significant public inquiries, having acted as Counsel to the Inquiry in both the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. She has also acted as sole counsel for three Core Participants in the Lampard Inquiry.

Zeenat is currently instructed in relation to the Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs.

Alongside her inquiries and inquests practice, Zeenat has considerable experience in equality and discrimination, human rights, professional standards and regulatory law. She is a member of the Attorney General’s C Panel of Junior Counsel to the Crown and the List of Specialist Regulatory Advocates, Panel B.

Zeenat is now accepting new instructions and looks forward to reconnecting with existing clients and working with new ones.
